Kendall County court cases

• Alan Meister, 19, 400 block of Sutton Street, Yorkville, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, a Class 4 felony, and possession of morphine, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing morphine and attempting to deliver between 10 and 30 grams of marijuana on Jan. 3, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $1,000 and a court date of Jan. 11 was set.

• Donzell Washington, 21, 1800 block of Lilac Lane, Aurora, was charged with multiple drug-related felonies stemming from a CPAT (Cooperative Police Assistance Team) investigation, according to Kendall County court records. Washington was charged with three counts each of unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class 3 felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing and delivering alprazolam on Sept. 25, Oct. 4, and Nov. 1. He was also charged with unlawful delivery with the intent to deliver, a Class X felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class 1 felony, for allegedly possessing and intending to deliver between 15 and 200 pills of MDMA on Dec. 19, court records show. Bail was set at $150,000 and a court date of Jan. 12 was set.

• Amy Kaval, 32, of DeKalb was charged with two counts of aggravated drunken driving, Class 4 felonies, for allegedly driving while under the influence on May 26, during a time when her license was revoked, according to Kendall County court records. A motion to set bail was filed and a court date of Jan. 22 was set.

• Ubaldo Lara, 18, 0-99 block of Stainfield Drive, Plano, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing and intending to deliver between 10 and 30 grams of marijuana on Dec. 18, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $5,000 and a court date of Jan. 26 was set.

• Kristy Brown, 33, 1500 block of Wright Street, Sandwich, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing less than 15 grams of heroin on Dec. 19, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $10,000 and a court date of Jan. 11 was set.

• Julie Michael, 31, 400 block of Center Street, Sandwich, was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing less than 15 grams of heroin on Dec. 19, according to Kendall County court records. She was also charged with obstructing justice, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly attempting to destroy heroin and paraphernalia by trying to flush it down the toilet during the investigation. Bail was set at $15,000 and a court date of Jan. 11 has been set.

• Karan Zutshi, 24, of Chicago was charged with possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing less than 15 grams of cocaine on Dec. 17, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $5,000 and a court date of Jan. 30 was set.

• Conner Naughton, 21, 12700 block of River Road, Plano, was charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, a Class 2 felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly possessing and delivering less than 15 grams of cocaine on July 12, according to Kendall County court records. Bail was set at $50,000 and a court date of Jan. 29 was set.

• Patrick Doherty, 29, 400 block of North Sycamore Street, Somonauk, was charged with multiple counts of felony retail theft stemming from several incidents that occurred in Kendall County, according to court records. Doherty was charged with retail theft, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly stealing less than $300 worth of merchandise from a Plano business on Jan. 13, 2016, having already been previously convicted of retail theft. He was charged with two counts of retail theft, Class 4 felonies, for allegedly stealing less than $300 worth of merchandise from a Plano business on Jan. 16, 2016. Doherty was also charged with retail theft, a Class 4 felony, for allegedly returning merchandise that didn’t belong to him to a Plano business on Jan. 17, 2016. A court date of Jan. 16 has been set.

• Chris Whisenant, 40, 1400 block of Cottonwood Trail, Yorkville, was charged with aggravated battery to a peace officer, a Class 2 felony, for allegedly pushing an officer on Dec. 10, according to Kendall County court records. He was also charged with aggravated battery in a public place, a Class 3 felony, for allegedly punching a woman in the face at an Oswego restaurant on the same date. Bail was set at $20,000 and a court date of Jan. 22 was set.
