‘Donuts’ lead to arrest
Montgomery police arrested Luis A. Solorio, 26, of the 0-99 block of Madison Street, Aurora, Feb. 7 at 2:22 a.m. after police identified him as the driver of a vehicle that officers had earlier observed doing “donuts” in the area of Seasons Ridge Boulevard. Police said Solorio was cited for improper lane usage, expired registration and driving on a suspended license. He later was released pending an appearance at the Kendall County Courthouse in Yorkville.
Motorist faces charges
Montgomery police arrested Jessica D. Wilkening, 33, of the 10000 block of Somonauk Road, Hinckley, after stopping her vehicle on Route 30 at Orchard Road Feb. 7 at 3:41 p.m. Police said Wilkening was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a suspended license.
DUI warrant arrest
Montgomery police arrested Amelia Garcia, 18, of the 9000 block of Van Emmon Road, while investigating a loud music complaint in the 800 block of Victoria Drive Feb. 8 at 2:18 a.m. Police said Garcia was wanted on an Aurora police warrant for driving under the influence of alcohol. She was transferred to the custody of Aurora police pending court proceedings.
Motorist facing charges
Montgomery police arrested Brian J. McCreedy, 37, of the 100 block of Braeburn Road, Boulder Hill, after stopping his vehicle on Orchard Road at Aucutt Road Feb. 7 at 8:59 p.m. Police said McCreedy has been charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving on a suspended license. He was released pending a court appearance, police said.
Arrested on multiple warrants
Montgomery police arrested Michael D. Boland, 45, of the 0-99 block of Circle Drive West, Boulder Hill, after stopping his vehicle for having an expired registration sticker on Montgomery Road at Crown Street Feb. 10 at 8:49 p.m. Police said Police said Boland was taken into custody when officers learned he was wanted on two Kane County warrants for retail theft, one Kendall County warrant for aggravated assault and one DuPage County warrant for driving on a suspended license. Police said Boland was also ticketed for driving without insurance. He was transported to the Kane County Jail in St. Charles pending a bond call.
Theft suspect arrested
Montgomery police arrested Xavier Leon, 22, of the 400 block of LaSalle Street, Aurora, Feb. 11 at 2:36 p.m. on a charge of retail theft from a store in the 2000 block of Orchard Road. Police said the theft occurred at the store Feb. 2 and investigators were later able to identify Leon as a suspect and arrest him Feb. 11. Police said Leon posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.
