Roundup: Oswego East boys basketball beats Romeoville

BOYS BASKETBALL

Oswego East: Ray J Dennis scored 15 points and had five assists, and Sam Schultz added 11 points and 10 rebounds in the Wolves' 56-48 win over Romeoville on Feb. 13.

Trent Taylor added 12 points and five rebounds and AJ Hughes had 12 points and five assists for Oswego East (16-7, 8-3 Southwest Prairie Conference), which hosts conference leader Joliet Central on Feb. 16.

GIRLS BOWLING

Oswego East: The Wolves bowled a team score of 5,671 to take second to Lockport at the Bolingbrook Sectional on Feb. 10, advancing to the state tournament this weekend in Rockford.

Kassy Krahulik bowled Oswego East's high series of 1,293. Kiana Krahulik bowled an 1,137, Kyleigh Rogers a 1,056 and Maile Harper a 1,030. Samantha Rodenbostel added a 651 and Kissy Villadores a 504.

GIRLS BASKETBALL

Oswego freshmen: The Panthers beat Plainfield East 29-21 on Feb. 6. Courtney Willig scored seven points, and Grace Davis and Olivia Solis each added six. Emily Tully and Hannah Dyson chipped in four points apiece and Megan Lemley two.
