The Kendall County Fair benefit golf outing will be held at Bliss Creek Golf Course in Aurora on Wednesday, June 20. There will be a shotgun start at noon with steak buffet following.

Come play, sponsor or donate a prize to the golf outing.

The entry fee is $100 which includes golf, cart and steak buffet following. Players will compete for cash prizes for top team and the top mixed team; longest drives; closest to the pin; longest putt; hole-in-one prizes on all par threes plus two gaming holes and a 50/50 raffle.

Be an event or hole sponsor for only $100. Businesses get recognition from the participants and others at Bliss Creek Golf Course on June 20 through tee box signs. Donate a door prize. Sponsor a foursome. A list of sponsors is given to each player. The sponsors list will be posted at the fairgrounds as well. Deadline for sponsorship entry is June 13.

Send a check directly to the Kendall County Fair Association, PO Box 149, Yorkville IL 60560 or drop off your donation in Yorkville at the Farm Bureau at 111 E. Van Emmon or the Extension Office at 7775B IL Route 47. Forms are also available online at go.illinois.edu/kendallfairgolf.

Funds generated by the outing are used toward the operation of the Kendall County Fairgrounds where the Kendall County Fair and 4-H Show are held. This year’s county fair is Aug. 2-5.

The Fair Association objectives include furthering the educational opportunities of the 4-H program, while including the 4-H show as part of the fair. Recognition for project and personal accomplishments promotes positive youth development.
