Juvenile charged in battery

County sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile in connection with a battery that occurred June 11 at 10:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of Route 30 in Oswego Township. Police said the juvenile was charged with domestic battery, assault and criminal damage to property. Police referred the juvenile to the juvenile court system.

Take ID theft report

County sheriff’s deputies took an identity theft report in the 0-99 block of Neola Court in Kendall Township June 11 at 6:09 p.m. Police said the victim told deputies that an unknown subject had purchased three cell phones from Verizon Wireless in the victim’s name. Police said they are investigating.

Take harassment report

A resident of the 2400 block of Light Road told county sheriff’s deputies June 11 that his ex-girlfriend has been harassing him by electronic means.

Investigate aggravated battery

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of an aggravated battery that occurred June 11 on Briarcliff Road at Route 30 at the entrance to Boulder Hill June 11 at 7:45 p.m.

Theft from vehicle reported

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a theft from a vehicle in the 15000 block of Miller Road in Little Rock Township June 11. Police said they are investigating.

Harassment report filed

A resident of Garden Drive in Boulder Hill filed a harassment report with the county sheriff’s office June 11. Police said the case involves several emails received by the victim. Police said they are investigating.

Harassment report filed

A resident of Sonora Drive in Boulder Hill told county sheriff’s deputies June 11 that she had been harassed by electronic means by a former acquaintance June 8.

Juvenile driver charged

County sheriff’s deputies arrested a juvenile from Oswego after stopping his vehicle in the 2500 block of Route 31 in Oswego Township June 9 at 1:37 a.m. Police said the juvenile was charged with operating a vehicle on a suspended license and released at the scene.

Motorcycle stolen

A motorcycle was stolen from a residence in the 0-99 block of Sherman Street in Fox Township sometime between June 8 and June 11, county sheriff’s deputies were told June 11. Police said they are investigating.

Boulder Hill theft reported

County sheriff’s deputies took a theft report at a residence in the 0-99 block of Chatham Place in Boulder Hill June 11. Police said the victim told deputies that someone stole $100 from her purse.

DUI arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Misael Perez, 19, of the 0-100 block of Braeburn Road, Boulder Hill, after stopping his vehicle for failing to signal on Route 126 at Route 47 in Yorkville June 9 at 12:45 a.m. Police said Perez was charged with driving under the influence and transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Under investigation

County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery June 10 at 7:26 p.m. at a residence in the 0-99 block of Quinsey Lane in Bristol Township. Police said they are continuing their investigation into the incident.

Hit and run reported

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a hit and run crash that occurred in the 15000 block of Frazier Road in Little Rock Township June 8 at 5 p.m. Police said a motorist struck an evergreen sapling that stood approximately six feet tall on private property.

Facing charges

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Justin M. Reints, 25, of the 1100 block of Deer Run Trail, Sandwich, after they stopped the vehicle he was driving on Route 52 at County Line Road in Big Grove Township June 9 at 2:37 p.m. Police said Reints was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding.

Millington man arrested

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jacob A. Esparza, 26, of Millington, in the 400 block of Bridge Street in Millington June 9 at 11:45 a.m. on a Kendall County warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior retail theft charge. Police said Esparza was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Boulder Hill vehicle burglary

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary to a vehicle parked at a residence in the 0-99 block of Amesbury Road in Boulder Hill June 6 at 7 p.m. A laptop computer and phone charger were stolen from a vehicle that was parked in the driveway.

Trespass investigation

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of criminal trespass to land in the 2000 block of Cherry Road in Oswego Township. Police said the victim told deputies that he observed two people trespassing on the victim’s property June 7 at 8 p.m. Police said no trespassing signs are posted on the property.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Johnny Williams, 38, of the the 2300 block of Iroquis Lane, Yorkville, in the 1400 block of North Bridge Street in Yorkville June 7 at 5:30 a.m. Police said Williams was wanted on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court on prior speeding and driving on a suspended license charges. He was transported to the county jail pending court proceedings.

DUI arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested David Moore, 41, of the 1300 block of Rock Run, Crest Hill, while investigating a report of a vehicle stopped partially in the roadway on Route 126 at Old Ridge Road in NaAuSay Township June 5 at 11:51 p.m. Police said Moore was charged with driving under the influence of prescription drugs. He was transported to an area hospital for evaluation and later released pending court proceedings.

Warrant arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Cori Morrison, 31, of the 0-99 block of Hillstone Road, Boulder Hill, as they investigated a report of possible criminal trespassing on Hillstone Road June 7 at 12:07 a.m. Police said Morrison was taken into custody by deputies when they learned he was wanted on a Kane County warrant. He was transported to the Kendall County jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Peter Otten, 21, of the 3000 block of Troon Drive, Montgomery, after stopping his vehicle on Route 34 at Lakewood Springs Drive June 6 at 6:32 p.m. Police said Otten was cited for driving on a suspended license.

Deceptive practice

County sheriff’s deputies took a deceptive practice report from a resident in the 0-100 block of Greenbriar Road in Boulder Hill June 5. Police said the case remains under investigation.

Cited in Creek Rd. crash

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Joshua Gardner, 38, of the 0-99 block of North Center Street, Plano, after the vehicle he was driving was involved in a crash on Creek Road at Miller Road in Little Rock Township June 6 at 2:20 p.m. Police said no one was hurt in the crash, but Gardner was cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and for making an improper u-turn.

Fuel tank tampering

County sheriff’s deputies are investigating an incident in which someone placed an unknown substance into the gas tank of a vehicle parked in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill June 6 at 2:40 a.m. Police said the substance disabled the vehicle.

Motorist stopped, ticketed

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Juanna Guerrero, 38, of the 400 block of Jackson Street, Aurora, with driving without a valid license after they stopped her vehicle for having only one headlight on Route 30 at Douglas Road June 6 at 9:05 p.m.

Domestic battery arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Roberto R. Delgado, 39, of the 12000 block of Alpine Way, Plainfield, June 5 at 1:45 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery at a residence in the 0-99 block of Springdale Road in Boulder Hill. Police said Delgado was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

Lisbon Township arrest

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Normann Garvin Black, Jr., 64, of the 0-99 block of Pletcher Drive, Lisbon Township, June 5 at 8:19 p.m. on a charge of domestic battery. Police said the suspect was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
