DUI arrest at Boulder Hill home

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Robin Loughman, 64, of the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill on a charge of driving under the influence at her residence July 1 at 6:30 p.m. Police said deputies responded to Loughman’s home on a report of a woman who had fallen on the pavement next to her vehicle and appeared to be injured. Police said Loughman was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center in Aurora, where she was treated for her injuries. Police said Loughman was later taken to the Kendall County Jail pending court proceedings.

Motorist treated, ticketed

County sheriff’s deputies ticketed Beatriz V. Garcia, 21, of Joliet after the vehicle she was driving was involved in a crash on Route 52 and O’Brien Road in Seward Township at 3:52 a.m. July 1. Police said Minooka Fire Protection District paramedics treated Garcia at the scene and she was cited by deputies for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

One hurt in Ridge Rd. crash

A Cicero resident, Belen Ulloa, 56, of the 6000 block of West 26th Avenue, was injured in a single-vehicle crash on Ridge Road at Wildy Road in Seward Township at 4:55 p.m. June 30, according to the sheriff’s office. Police described Ulloa’s injuries as non-life-threatening and said she was taken to Morris Hospital in Morris.

Charged with DUI in crash

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Barbara Book, 58, of the 2500 block of Von Esch Road, Plainfield, after the vehicle she was driving June 30 at 12:10 a.m. was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Roth Road at Woolley Road in Oswego Township. Police said Book failed to stop at a stop sign and crashed into a traffic sign at the intersection. She was charged with driving under the influence and taken to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.

No headlights leads to arrest

County deputies arrested Christina Calvert, 39, of the 2000 block of 3372nd Road, Ottawa, after stopping her vehicle for driving without headlights when required at Route 71 and Walsh Drive in Yorkville at 9 p.m. June 30. Police said Calvert was charged with driving on a suspended license.

Vehicle reported stolen

County deputies took a stolen vehicle report at a home in the 1400 block of Light Road in Oswego Township on June 29. Police said the victim told deputies the theft occurred June 28 at 12:45 p.m.

Respond to domestic

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a domestic battery at a home June 29 at 10:50 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill. Police said no one was hurt, but they are continuing their investigation.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Sean S. Haug, 39, of the 200 block of Lexington Avenue, Rockford, after stopping his vehicle for an equipment violation on Ridge Road at I-80 in Seward Township at 3:14 a.m. June 29. Police said Haug was charged with driving on a suspended license.

Respond to work zone crash

A Morris resident, Gregory Pappas, 58, of the 1000 block of Kenilworth Court, received minor injuries when the vehicle he was driving on Joliet Road at Route 47 struck newly installed pavement at the intersection, which is under construction, at 1 p.m. June 29, according to the sheriff’s office. Police said the newly installed road surface was several inches above the old road surface. Police said Pappas refused medical attention at the scene. Pappas’ vehicle, however, sustained what police described as “major damage.”

Fight investigation

County sheriff’s deputies took a report of a fight in the 17000 block of Ridge Road in Seward Township at 11:20 p.m. June 29. Police said they are investigating.

Pressure washer stolen

County sheriff’s deputies took a burglary report at a home in the 100 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill June 30. Police said sometime on June 18 someone entered a detached garage at the home and stole a pressure washer. Police said they are investigating.

Shaving cream damages cars

Someone sprayed shaving cream on two vehicles parked in the 0-99 block of Route 52 in Seward Township sometime between 3 a.m. and 9 a.m. June 30, according to the county sheriff’s office. Police said the shaving cream damaged the paint on both vehicles.

Burglary reported

A residence in the 1700 block of Light Road in Oswego Township was burglarized sometime between 4 p.m. June 29 and 3 a.m. June 30, county deputies were told. Police said they are investigating.

Theft reported

County sheriff’s deputies took a theft report at a home in the 0-100 block of Old Post Road in Boulder Hill at 4 p.m. June 28. Police said personal items were taken from the home with the intention of reselling them online.

Respond to Boulder Hill home

County sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery in the 0-99 block of Briarcliff Road in Boulder Hill at 1 a.m. July 1. Police said no arrests were made, but the incident remains under investigation.

Mini bike stolen in Boulder Hill

A black mini bike was reported stolen from a fenced-in backyard of a home in the 0-99 block of Chatham Place in Boulder Hill sometime late June 23 or in the early morning hours of June 24, according to the sheriff’s office. Police said their investigation is continuing.

Harassment reported

A Boulder Hill resident told county sheriff’s deputies of receiving an electronic message of a harassing nature June 24 at 6 p.m. Police said they are investigating.

Respond to domestic

County sheriff’s deputies were summoned to a residence in the 80th block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill at 10:38 p.m. June 28 on a report of a domestic battery. Police said their investigation into the incident is continuing.

Legion Rd. home damaged

Five windows were found damaged on an unoccupied home in the 10000 block of Legion Road in Kendall Township at 10 a.m. June 27, according to the sheriff’s office. Police said they are investigating.

Montgomery man arrested

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Noe Denova, 50, of the 2000 block of Williams Drive, Montgomery, after stopping his vehicle for disobeying a stop sign on Fernwood Road at Winrock Road in Boulder Hill at 3:19 p.m. June 27. Police said Denova was charged with disobeying a stop sign and driving on a revoked license. He later posted bond and was released pending a court appearance, police said.

License violation

County sheriff’s deputies arrested Jimmy L. Nieves, 45, of the 100 block of Kevin Lane, Oswego, after stopping his vehicle on Augusta Road at Light Road in Oswego Township at 4:19 p.m. June 27. Police said Nieves was charged with driving on a suspended license.
