Polystyrene/Styrofoam recycling event this Saturday in Oswego

The Oswego Presbyterian Church’s Earth Care Team will accepting packing peanuts and other polystyrene/Styrofoam materials during a recycling event this Saturday, July 14 from 9 a.m. to noon in the church parking lot, at 1976 Route 25, just north of the village's downtown.

The Oswego Presbyterian Church’s Earth Care Team is again providing polystyrene/Styrofoam recycling event for the community this Saturday, July 14 from 9 a.m. to noon in the church parking lot at 1976 Route 25, just north of the village's downtown.

Any polystyrene/Styrofoam foam materials having the PS6 symbol will be accepted. Foam items should be divided into separate tied-up bags such as garbage bags as follows: Foam cups and food service containers (rinsed) but no straws, lids, plastic wrap or trash; packaging foam "peanuts”; and other packaging foam with labels, tape and other materials removed. Foam insulation will not be accepted.
