Northern Illinois Reds 13U baseball team wins 2A Gold

Players from Yorkville, Ottawa and the surrounding areas went 6-0 over the three-day baseball tournament in the Quad City area to claim the state title. Head Coach BJ Olson praised the team’s grit, determination and cohesion throughout the season that resulted in the championship. The team’s record is 29-6.
