Oswego police are investigating an incident in which someone removed the wheels from a vehicle parked at Oswego High School over the weekend. Police said the wheels were located on school property.
Two taken to hospital
Two Oswego residents, Steven Ballauer, 62, and Prasad Bonella, 46, were injured when their vehicles collided at 3:54 p.m. April 7 on Route 34 at Route 30, according to village police. Both drivers were transported to an area hospital, police said.
35-plus mph over limit
Oswego police ticketed a juvenile driver at 9:25 p.m. April 6 for speeding in excess of more than 35 mph on Orchard Road at Tuscany Trail.
Two hurt in crash
Two people were injured in a crash at 11:22 a.m. Sunday, April 7 on Route 34 at Fifth Street in Oswego, village police reported. Police said the drivers of the two vehicles involved in the crash, Tremayne Marion, 21, of Aurora and Ana Gutierrez, 42, of Aurora, were both transported to an area hospital. Marion was cited for driving without insurance and failure to yield turning left.
Oswego police arrested Danny Beauchamp, 22, of the 5600 block of Catalpa Avenue, Chicago, on a warrant at 3:17 p.m. April 3 in the 1200 block of Douglas Road. Police said Beauchamp was transported to the Kendall County Jail pending court proceedings.
Traffic stop leads to arrest
Oswego police arrested Cornell T. Harris, 47, of Oswego at 5:05 p.m. April 1 on Chicago Road near Grant Street after stopping his vehicle for a speeding violation. Police said Harris was taken into custody when officers learned he was wanted on a DuPage County warrant for failure to appear in court on a prior charge of driving on a suspended license. Harris was also cited for speeding and driving while license suspended.
