One hurt in Rt. 34 crash
A Naperville resident, Audrey L. Boccassini, 35, was injured in a two vehicle crash on Route 34 at Boulder Hill Pass June 11 at 4:51 p.m., Oswego police reported. Police said Boccassini was treated at the scene while the driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash, Danielle M. Hudgick, 36, of Montgomery, was not injured.
Vehicle burglary reported
Oswego police took a report of a vehicle burglary in the parking lot of a store in the 4000 block of Route 71 June 11. Police said the incident occurred at 9:15 p.m.
Seek suspect in theft
Oswego police are investigating a theft that occurred June 10 at 8:32 p.m. at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34. Police said merchandise valued at $748 was stolen. Police described the suspect in the theft as a bald African-American man, about 35 years-old, weighing approximately 200 pounds and just under six feet tall. The suspect was wearing jeans and a black sweatshirt, police said.
Theft, warrant arrest
Oswego police arrested Juan D. Gutierrez, 34 of the 1200 block of Towne Avenue, Batavia, at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 June 9 at 5:22 p.m. Police said Gutierrez was charged with retail theft and wanted on a warrant. He was transported to the county jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
Oswego police took a harassing phone call report at a residence in the 1000 block of Station Drive June 8 at 5:58 p.m. Police said an investigation is pending.
Oswego police took a report of sunglasses valued at $208 being stolen at a store in the 3500 block of Route 34 June 8 at 11 a.m.
Cyclist hit by vehicle
A Montgomery resident, Uriel Cruz, 23, received minor injuries when he was struck by a motor vehicle while riding his bicycle in the 0-10 block of East Merchants Drive June 7 at 5:50 a.m., Oswego police reported. Police said Cruz told officers he was familiar with the driver of the vehicle and they are continuing their investigation.
Oswego police are investigating a report of criminal damage to property at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34. Police said the damaged occurred June 5 between 5 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
Vehicle found damaged
Oswego police are investigating a report of criminal damage done to a vehicle parked at a store in the 2300 block of Route 34 June 7 at 9:20 p.m. Police said damage to the vehicle was estimated at $300.
Oswego police arrested Kayla M. Patrick, 21, of the 2700 block of Stonebridge Drive, Plainfield, at a residence in the 100 block of Presidential Boulevard June 6 at 8:11 p.m. on two warrants for failure to appear in court. Police said the suspect was transported to the Kendall County Jail in Yorkville pending court proceedings.
An employee at a business in the 3700 block of Grove Road in Oswego told village police June 6 that she has been receiving harassing telephone calls while at the business.
